About Us

The Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau (OPVB) is a professional sales, marketing and public relations organization committed to enhancing the economic well-being of the North Olympic Peninsula by selling the area as a desirable visitor destination and working closely with other economic development and community organizations.

Among its other functions, OPVB provides administrative support for the Olympic Peninsula Tourism Commission and is the point of contact for the State of Washington for travel writers, tour operators and film scouts interested in the Olympic Peninsula.

Meet the Staff of OPVB

Marsha Massey, Executive Director

Marsha has spent nearly her whole career in the hospitality industry, having started over 30 years ago with the Seattle / King County Convention and Visitors Bureau.  She spend 16 years with  Westin Hotels and Resorts, where she worked both on property in Seattle and San Francisco, as well as in the company's corporate offices.  As part of Westin's global sales force, Marsha led the international sales team responsible for company-wide tour and travel accounts, as well as global business travel accounts. Most recently, Marsha was the Executive Director for the Washington State Tourism Office,  formerly a branch of Washington's Department  of Commerce in Olympia, There, Marsha and her team were privileged to work with constituents around the state to market, nationally and internationally, this great state of Washington.  Marsha is currently dividing her time between her home in Seattle, and her "second home" in Port Angeles.   She is honored to have the opportunity to work on behalf of the Olympic Peninsula, a personal favorite destination.
