Dog-Friendly Destinations on the Olympic Peninsula

We understand that your dog is not just a pet but part of your family! Of course you want to bring your dog with you on your trip to the Olympic Peninsula. This region of Washington State is a large and diverse landscape ranging from Pacific beaches to alpine meadows and everything in-between.  And while most places in the Olympic National Park do prohibit dogs there are thousands of acres to keep you and your furry family member(s) busy. (Scroll to the bottom to download our Dog Friendly Destinations Map!)

A couple things to remember when traveling with your dog:

Please keep your dog on a leash unless otherwise permitted.

Please be aware of any specific passes required to enter a park.

Please clean up after your dog.

Please make sure you and your dog stay hydrated while exploring.
